If I skip all the floppy files then it just cycles round to start the setup over again. Raid-1 allows you to mirror the data on two drives. Using the site is easy and fun. Don’t know if that detection problem is only in bios at boot up, though it might be intermitent, since the question says “sometimes”. That means if one drive dies, the other drive will contain the correct up-to-date data and you will have no downtime. During set up with the Nvidia controller in use there are two drivers on the floppy, raid and then controller, when selected both appear to load in turn, by that I mean that there is audible and o8n-e indication from the floppy, and at the bottom of the screen it says ‘loading nvraid.

Using the Nvidia controller with the bios raid parameters set as per the manual press f10 after post and the drives are recognised and can be configured as raid 0. The time now is With raid-0 you store data across all the drives in the array.

In the Chipset category of the Bios under the sub category of OnBoard Device you have enable the Raid option Rom, then enable the third master and fourth master?
